Summer Enrichment Camp 2008
Westside Elementary and U.S. Jones Elementary

Students from either Westside or U.S. Jones can participate in any camp at either school. Unless otherwise noted, all camps are for children grades K-5. A deposit of $30 is required with application for programs. Please contact your child's school or Community Education to obtain an application.

June 2-6
Girls Diva Day Camp - $30
---Glamour, make-up, nails, fashion, glitter, photo shots, and more!! Make jewelry and flip flops, learn cheerleading cheers, and enjoy the fun!
June 2-6
Music Camp, Voice Lessons, and Computer - $30
---Voice lessons by the DHS Choir Director, lean about drums and voice recordings. Make your own CD. Learn about computers and keyboarding. Musical recital on June 6th @ 10:30am - Parents and friends invited.
June 9-13
Art Camp - $50
(Enrollment limited to 50 students
)
---Painting, drawing, craft, making frames, and much more! Art exhibit @ 11am on June 13th - Parents and fiends are invited.
June 9-13
Basketball Camp, Cup Stacking, and PS 3 Games - $30
---Basketball camp, shooting contests, shooting practice in the gym. Basketball tournament with awards on June 13th @ 10:30am. Learn cup stacking and PS3 games.

June 16-20
Hansel & Gretel by Missoula Children's Theatre - Free
This play is for children K-8th grade
---Will be held at DHS for students K-8th grade. Auditions will be June 16th @ 9am. All students are encouraged to participate but only 50 will receive parts. Two performances will be given on Friday, June 20th - 3pm and 6pm. There is no charge for the camp - the Alabama Arts Council provided a grant for Missoula Children's Theatre.

Sidewalk Science Week - $30
---Flying kites, dropping eggs, making ice cream, making & baking pizza, and many other fun science experiences for students will be brought into the week.

Field Trips, Photography, and E-mail - $30
---Students will experience field trips to the Demopolis Animal Shelter, University of West Alabama, and Livingston Bakery. They will go on a boat trip with the Corp. or Engineers, make a pizza at the Demopolis Pizza Hut, and have other fun experiences.

**Free lunch will be provided each day if the parent requests. Students are not required to eat the free lunch.**
