Demopolis Middle School, located in historic Demopolis, Alabama, strives to provide a challenging curriculum and help students smoothly make the transition from elementary to high school. Using a student-centered curriculum, the dedicated principals, teachers and support personnel at DMS educate a student body of over 600 in Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grades.
Computer labs, a full-size gymnasium, and nearby atheletic fields contribute to providing a well-rounded education for the students at Demopolis Middle School. The school also offers well-equipped library facilities and a large cafeteria. In addition, DMS participates in the 21st Century After-School Program offered in conjunction with Community Education.
Various clubs and activities are offered at Demopolis Middle School as well as middle school sports such as football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, cheerleading, and marching band. |
